Fox network gave a green light to the show for a second season right after its successful first season run. However, fans are yet to receive any information regarding the third season as of yet. The second season finale was left incomplete as the heroes planned to build a new Mutant Underground but Blink’s portal opens up either a dark future or an even darker alternate reality.

The future of the show is looking a bit uncertain considering the fact that the fate of several Marvel TV series is hanging in the balance following the cancellation of Netflix’s Jessica Jones and The Punisher by the network.

What Are The Chances Of A Third Season Considering The Bleak Future The Show Holds?

While the show revolves around the story of a couple whose ordinary lives are rocked by the sudden discovery that their children possess mutant powers. However, it seems like water Disney has launched its own streaming service all these shows might shift to Disney+. However, it goes without saying that the show has created it’s a fair share of interesting characters.

Considering the fact that the ratings of the show have significantly dropped since be the first season to the second one, it is still unsure whether the show will be renewed for a third season or not. However, the possibility of the third season was teased at the end of the season 2 finale “oMens” where Blink’s portal showed a glimpse of an apocalyptic world on the other side and she invited her fellow mutants to come with her.
